Lodhi Gardens, New Delhi. India (29 Aor - 1st May 2025)
On a short 3-day trip to the sprawling busy megapolis of Delhi with its concrete high rises and spread-out residential colonies, I was not sure that I would find any birds near enough to my hotel during my early morning walk. I therefore set out with only my phone camera on the first morning to walk in Lodhi Gardens which happened to be next door to me – only to discover birds, birds and birds attracted by the variety of backgrounds in this huge 90-acre park – a water body, large green grassy patches split by walking paths, variety of trees and bushes of all sizes. The pictures therefore capture only a few of the bird varieties present.
